Welcome Queensway Quay Marina

Oueensway Quay opened in March 1994 with some 120 berths and another 100 in the longer term, including several for yachts of up to 35 metres. All berths (other than quayside) have individual finger pontoons, reinforced by an anchored bow/stern line which is taken on board.  It has the advantage over the older marinas of greater distance from the dust and noise of the airport, and being barely five minutes from the town centre. Marina trolleys can be borrowed for major storing up at the vast new Safeway on the Varyl Begg Estate ten minutes’ walk to the north.

On site facilities include chandlery, launderette, bars, restaurants and shops. Most berths have tele- phone points and access to pontoons is by security card only. Proof of insurance is required.
