This sheltered marina extends down a long, thin cala, situated about 1.5km from Santa Ponsa itself. The nearby town is a busy tourist spot and offers full provisioning facilities, while within the cala itself there is a yard offering expertise in most nautical problems, as well as well-respected brokerages, a bar, restaurant and diving school.

It was at Santa Ponsa that King Jaime I landed in 1229 to conquer Mallorca from the Moors, and a fiesta marking this event is held annually on 9th September.
